Adept Conservation Network
Adept Conservation Network (ACN) is a Non-Governmental and not-for-profit organization by a team of Kenyans who are qualified with years of experienced in the field of conservation and was established in the year 2020.
The Organization seeks to provide practical, evidence and nature-based solutions to conservation problems for sustainability of nature as well as of communities dependent on the environment they live in.
Over the years, nature has been faced with numerous challenges leading to loss and even extinction of some species due to the inability to cope with the changes. This loss has in turn adversely affected the lives and livelihoods of communities whose lives revolve on sustainable use of this natural resource.
Human needs depend highly on ecosystem services provided by nature for their survival. Therefore, there is an urgent need to join hands to avert the threats which are being faced by the natural resources and thus survival of peoples.
It’s also stated that it is still not too late to make a difference, but only if we start now at every level from local to global.
ACN combines expert advise, science with indigenous knowledge to reverse the negative impacts on biodiversity by improving community livelihoods, awareness creation, research, advocacy and collaborating with various stakeholders.
